This week, making contact with “Handbaglady” proved remarkably easy. In fact, she hails from County Durham. More difficult was deciding on a suitable noble name for the rest of the month since her real name is Janice – and we already have had a setter of that name. After due consideration, I have decided that “The Lady Radley” would fit the bill for reasons that some of our readers will not need explaining.

I believe that Janice already has well-developed IT skills, so much so that I can relax tomorrow morning when she makes her first launch of MM Links. Following the usual format, the channel of communication should open on AB tomorrow at 08.45am and the four words to be linked should be posted at 9.00am, when MM Links kicks off in earnest. Remember ~ early MM hits gain bonus points!

As usual, I ask that you should also look out for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz ( Roo-land) and is my good friend, “seekeerz”. She is truly the “Wizard-ess of Oz”.

As I always say ~ “Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” You have nothing to lose. Both games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards to trace progress through each monthly contest.

Until I see you tomorrow, may I wish you ~ “Happy Linking”!

:o)
Thank you for opening the shrubbery Crofter. I look forward to “The Lady Radley's” offering tomorrow morning.

Unfortunately, I fail to see the connection between County Durham and an Oxfordshire village.

And a Public School, gentoo.
Evening all!
Just got in....a bottle of wine to open!
I'll join you in a large glass, Pauline - the end of a strange week. Started with a celebration (45 years wedding anniversary - the nearest we got to a sapphire, though, was blue icing on the cake!) and ended with a friend's illness. Going away for a few days next week, so batteries will be re-charged.
What a shame tearinghair...but many many congratulations anyway. That is some achievement!
It's probably down to apathy rather than anything else.......
....and you biting your tongue no doubt!
many times!
Congratulations to tearinghair on 45 years , we have our 45th tomorrow so no doubt the bubbly will be out. Only slight problem is that the 2 eldest granddaughters are here for the night so we are all going out for dinner. Sapphire is it ?- fat chance of anything that colour in our house.
Really looking forward to handbaglady's contribution tomorrow. She lives not a million miles away from me.
Cheers all.

Hi grannydi.....many congratulations to you as well!!
I really hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow.
I will miss the start of the links tomorrow as I will be on my way to Lake Windermere with Reg and a group of friends. So I shall have to try and score some points later on...but hope it goes well for you all...and good luck to Lady Radley...
