 Go where, obviously not to new orleans...if you mean be evicted as president,of course not..The only way george bush can be ousted is to be impeaced and that aint never could never happen in this case, his popularity in the polls can be affected but seeing he's not up for re-election it means very little..

nowhere to go; as luckyboy says, he's in his last term anyway (presidents only get two). There seems considerable resentment among Americans that the administration failed to take New Orleans's plight seriously. The most this could mean is that Democrats feel more emboldened to protest and obstruct his legislative proposals and Repbublicans, his own party, feel less inclined to back his policies for fear they will be tainted by his tarnished image (unlike him, most of them will run for re-election). But I don't think is likely to amount to much. If Iraq goes on getting worse, though, his moral authority will be further battered.

Oh course the irony is, that at the end of his term (I agree with other comments that that is when he will go, I don't think he'll be impeached) he'll probably go to work for Daddy... in the oil companies that will now be making a fortune more than even usual, because of the hurricane and Iraq!

well, i was actually thinking that since he has ultimate charge in the United States, he should be aware when a whole chunk of his country is unprotected from predicted storms and can act to have them protected. Or when natural disasters hit, that he can ensure that the situation is appraised and that he ensures those suffering are helped. None of which he did.

I don't agree, the Bush hating lefty establishment can always find a way of making it look like bush is callous un caring etc. I'm sure he done what he could. Ok defences where inadequate but it takes a disaster like this to know that. I didn't notice much criticism of the far eastern leader in the wake of the Tidal wave. More Bush bashing I'm afraid.

This is what I would like to say to my Prez, but, heavy sigh, I think he's here to stay. It does put the reasons behind Mr. Clinton's impeachment into perspective though!

Our only real hope is that Hilary C. will get what she wants and a full, independent investigation into the entire affair is undertaken.

On the slowness of the rescue theres enough blame to go around for all, at state and federal level...on the latest polls 49% of americans blame him and 46% don't...so the americans are just as split as ever on him so no change there...

The man's decided to set up an investigation, which he'll be in charge of, to see if he was in any way to blame.  How do you think that will go?
