Trouble playing music or video links....
5 Answers
When I try to play Youtube ,or any other video links, the playback keeps cutting off. It will play for a few seconds-stop-and start again. I thought it might be that I needed to update Adobe Flashplayer.yet my Google Chrome browser has the current version.

Yes, very much so.
If you have (for example) 4000kbs (4mbs) as your download rate this is shared between all the computers in your house. so your daughter is downloading files at a total of 2500kbs then you only have 1500kbs left to use. if a computer is just left on and not downloading anything then it's bandwidth usage will be minimal most the time though.
If you are feeling put out by your daughter using all your bandwidth some routers let you set basic QoS (Quality of Service) which would let you set your use at a higher priority than hers :)
