We're using Frontline combo but it doesn't seem to be working that well.

Anyone got any tips to get rid of them? He hasn't had them that long, we checked him regularly. He's just had his second treatment.

They're not attracted to me or the kids but seem to be quite fond of OH.

Cheers Ratter. We're not infested. I've only seen a couple. How long does frontline take to work? He had his 2nd treatment last week. Can you do it every month non stop or do the cats need a break?
Ummm, we use Advocate on our cats (used to use Stronghold which I found v good, but the vet says Advocate is more effective). I don't know how much it is because we get it free as part of our vet-subscription package. No fleas here (she says hopefully).
and PS yes, you have to give these treatments regularly for them to keep working.
this stuff is brilliant for the house...do your car(s) as well as you will carry them around. Its not cheap but it will do a large 4 bedroom house inc beds and soft furnishings plus 2 cars and leave a bit over.

not sure if this is the cheapest place to get it.

I got fleas (not my pets) in the course of my work for the NHS :-(
I only know about dogs, ours are done every month and works great, it says on the box that it kills 98% of flease within 48 hours.

So it should be working. The thing is he plays out with other cats so it could be an ongoing problem.
