Everton, actually, I will add something here. The troubles in the Middle East are not simply about politics as you continue to proclaim. They go much much deeper than that - on both sides. The fact is before the modern state of Israel was created the Jewish people came from all corners of the globe, they spoke different languages, and the only thing they had in common was a history bound by religion. In short, no Promised Land - no problem. Without that, the Jews would have long ago integrated into society and a State of Israel would never have been a consideration. And if that, in your estimation, makes me a numpty, then so be it. I can live with the truth even if you can't.
Hi Mibn, I think you will find that the Cathars who were slaughtered in their thousands by the roman catholic church would agree with you, were there any left.
Everton, regarding parents views of teaching their children about other religions - at the mention of other Gods this was the response I got from Keyplus on another thread: (Keyplus - I hope you don't mind me using this, but you've confirmed something that I was trying to encourage Everton to understand here).

//Muslims do not tell their kids about these characters to start with. But as I said, you would not understand because IN YOUR MIND YOU ALREADY KNOW ALL. //

Hate to say I told you so. ;o)
jomifl/mibs, yes you are right of course, i was too busy thinking about goats blood and sacrificial virgins.
