What will my husband have to do...........................................
..

to go self employed. ? He is nearly 62 and has been thinking of going self employed so he can help our son in law out in his business. At the moment we get Council Tax help but nothing else since my husband lost his job. We both have a very small private pension and so therefore we have "enough to live on" according to the Social services. But we are finding it just isn't enough as we are still paying a mortgage plus other bills. If he went self employed will we lose the council tax help.?
