Patel's findings meant there was no realistic prospect of taking action against the police office who was filmed assaulting Mr Tomlinson.
Had Patel's findings been different then his evidence could have been challenged because of his previous record.
Sometimes you wonder if all conspiracy theorists are as mad as they're painted.

Have Patel's findings been released? I thought they hadn't, or is he not the second pathologist?
Question Author
Patel was the first pathologist. His bumbling effectively stopped any chance there was of the case progressing.
As I asked, who would have appointed him to such an important case?
Most of us saw the video, It has to be manslaugter as Mr tomlinson died as a result of a criminal act carried out against him. The criminal act being the unprovoked assault by a police officer.
