This seems to be a common expresion these days to describe a woman who is pregnant
any one know where it comes from and what does the 'Duff' part mean?
'pudding', as in 'the pudding club' - another old term for this was 'dough', and an alternativepronunciation of dough was 'duff' (as if it rhymed with tough).
