We are looking at Croatia for our holiday next year. It seems to be just a little different than mainland touristy holiday places. Whilst searching it seems that most coatal areas in Croatia are made up of cliff/rocky outcrops! We dearly love the sand to sit on during the day and wondered if someone had knowledge of such a place? Hotel on beach would be perfect!! Many thanks in advance.

Many thanks for that. Job done I guess!! Regard.
the further south you are the sandier they get, as a rule. Albania next door has wonderful beaches. Just over the border into Croatia our car once got bogged down in the soft sand of a beach and a dozen bronzed German teenage nudists turned up to help dig us out, which was nice.
We had a lovely holiday in Croatia a couple of years ago, we stayed on an island off the coast (can't remember its name at the moment) but I would recommend it. Lots to see if you like historic sites too.

That all sound great. Sandy beaches and history is a bonus for us. We like the idea of going somewhere that not too taken over by the Brits!! Sorry but you know what I mean, pictures of food and the Red Lion. Thanks for the input.
