Worldwide Travel Insurance - Experiences, Recommendations, and Reviews?
Good Morning!
I hope you're well. I am in need of some advice.
I need worldwide annual travel insurance which covers skiing, surfing, climbing etc - while I understand there are a host of companies out there I wondered if someone who has actually claimed could share their experiences?
Also, how much is too much for travel insurance?
All the best,
Spare Ed

which is indeed cheap but Ive not claimed on them. I used to be with someone else but when I wanted to claim for a lost bag I realised it would be easier to do it on my household insurance (the excesses are much lower).
For comparing prices you can look at sites like kelkoo and the other usual suspects, bearing in mind that companies like Directline don't use them. You'll always pay more for dangerous sports, but you knew that already.

Oh, yes, I thoroughly agree with thugulike - unless you definitely never expect, intend or will be making a claim from AXA then don't take out any insurance with them (yep, insurance is pointless if there is not to be the possibility of needing to make a claim). While they just might eventually pay out on a claim, the experience of making the claim will be so miserable that you will almost feel it was not worth going down that road.
