Someone else said that to me. Apparently I come across as someone else. Whoever this person is, I have no idea who you or they are.
Not that I need to justify myself for you, however I will tell you again.
I came to Answerbank on the recommendation of a real life friend who I've known for 17 years. Yes, I have rested in the ample bosom of the woman you know as unrulie Julie. If you know her and she likes you, she can attest for me. If you don't or she doesn't, well I trust her judgement.

What I meant was, everyone on CB seemed to be going camping the week I joined and I got jealous so I took a tent to Wensleydale. Nothing more sinister than that. :)

In trying to obtain an answer to an IT question, I was directed to the site.

I'm not that familiar with the who's, the whys or the what's yet, but I find it stimulating that one can have a discussion on various topics - - - though I'm not so sure that I want to get involved with the day to day stuff like - "What did you have for your dinner?" or "where do you come from?"

I don't see what that has got to do with the meeting of minds in a discussion on a particular subject. So I won't be going there myself to answer such impertinent questions. I don't need to know where anyone else lives etc, or what they are doing at any part of their day. I care not! Nor, do I see how the answer to the same will flourish the general debate on a particular issue.

Back in 2007 I googled for a crossword I was stuck on and was directed to this site. I registered a name, asked my question and got the answer I was looking for. I repeated this in 2009 but by then couldn't remember my original username or password. I registered NoMercy, asked my crossword question and then noticed the Chatterbank section.

I've made a lot of mates and acquaintances on this site and love coming on regularly to chat to them.

Nothing MADE me join, actually I came accross it by accident. Looking for an answer to a Q I went to google andit was there.
I thought what a brilliant site because if I had a Q on anything I could see from all the topics listed I would find the answer here. Also I could help others too.
