I used to win a prize every few months with this crossword but now that they have cut out runner up prizes I haven't won anything from June/July 2009. Any posters won anything?

Yes, I win this crossword on 13th June, 2010 but had to send two e-mails, one letter and then a registered letter before I got my cheque about two weeks ago.

Well done goingforgold. I usually got paid OK though one time I put my son's name down as he had helped me. He never got the cheque when he was attending a GB University. I never bother following it up though as so much time had elapsed from win to me finding out that he hadn'g got it!

If you have the date it would be worth ringing and speaking to Grainne who seems to deal with the crossword. She informed me that my name had just 'slipped through the system' and if I hadn't rang I would not have got my money. Good luck

they offered runner up prizes of €20 in the new year crossword and my name was on the list of winners but I never got the prize. I wrote about it on two occasions but never a response and then I gave up. Perhaps sending letters to the Editorial office is a waste of time?

You should definitely ring. It was my daughter who rang in the finish and talked to Grainne. She asked her 'as a matter of interest, do many people have to ring' and she was informed that at least once a month she gets a phone call from someone who never got their prize. It is your £20 so I think you should ring. Good luck
