The little ones (they are 2 1/2 years old) are getting a bit heavy now and I want to get the lightest possible pushchair/buggy/stroller. I just want the twin version of the really cheap (£30 or so) single ones. I don't want to pay a lot as I am hoping that they will speed up their walking soon and I won't need it so much but at the moment we are up and down from school three times a day and to be honest it is killing me! Thanks.

Have you got 2 similar single ones already? If so you can buy those clip on connectors that fit 2 pushchairs together for about £15. I have some and they aren't perfect but quite do-able. I fit a single to a double before I got my triple buggy and it was hard but I managed. Other than that I would see if there are any 2nd hand available. I got mine off e bay for £70. The connector things are from Kiddicare.
How about a single buggy with the ride on things that go at the back...and then they take it in turns. One sit on the way...and stand on the way back.
