Things to know about moving to Oz??

A family member is moving to Australia for a few years. Any advice on what he should know before he goes?

I was just wondering how they go about council tax, water bills etc

those leaflets are fascinating - it actually tells people that most austrailians blow their noses into a tissue rather than "onto the pavement" and that a woman wearing clothes that show a lot of her body does not necassarily have low morals! Wow! i wonder if britain provides such use ful advice to immigrants?

Bedknobs we don't have that sort of trouble with our immigrants, we can hardly tell who they are.
