Not sure that I am included in the above, but the majority of my answers come out of my head through personal experience. Sometimes, I do have to check various sites for statistics and various other numerical data.

Most of mine are from my head but I often check online to get the procedures and names excatly right as people don't seem to respond well to being told to "click on something that says something like" and expect precise directions

half and half. All my medical advice is made up, obviously, especially the stuff about recommending phrenology to the afflicted.

gardening stuff mostly I know, ditto recipes and similar....or if I have a rough Idea I will google or use academic directories/search engines as appropriate other stuff bitter experience and old age...
