Do you think its about the right time now to put the sprouts on for Christmas day. I like mine soggy not firm. (The sprouts I mean not my woman.)

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I mostly base it on summer, because I would say that is definitely June, July, August and then work out the others from there but then it gets a bit messy at autumn/winter because November can be so wintery (21st of December is way too late for official winter start date!) but then winter goes on till the end of February so would make winter 4 months and autumn only 2!

About those sprouts m558, It is a bit early, you may find the pan boils dry then starts to burn and the SMELL when that happens is awful - awful, so pace it a little, perhaps leave it a couple more weeks.
Mash soggy sprouts with a lump of butter (no marge) divide into clumps and fry in a v/hot f/pan till brown, mmmm! delish.
