weed effects? (laced?)

well i have only smoked weed once, five months ago from now. anyway i smoked the weed and was doing some physical activities, then all of a sudden i had a thought what it would be like to have a bad trip, then i started to panic my heart was racing and i thought i was having a bad trip i was shaking and had a million thoughts in my head about what my parents would say if they find me passed out on drugs. i was sent to the hospital because of the horrific effects. few days after i felt depressed for 2 months of a thought of not being the person i was before, and had blurred vision which also added to the depression, i had anxiety for a total of 4 times in four months because of the thought of going through that experience again, i also lack in emotions i can laugh but some things that are extremely funny i don't laugh at (when someone tells a joke i say in my head i cant laugh and force myself to laugh). my question to you is will i ever be the same again? was that just a panic attack from the thought of a bad trip? are these effects in my head? was my weed laced? are these normal effects of weed? are these permanent?

Thanks heaps for the answers, im just 17 and curious, i needed something to sooth the pain of my nan, uncle and aunt dieing of cancer early this year i took the weed after my nan who was the last to die.

Your symptoms sound very much like acute anxiety that was highlighted by taking the weed and then you became more and more anxious thinking about things. You are at a very vulnerable age where a lot of people (especially boys) can suffer with acute depression/paranoia/anxiety. You need to talk to your GP who will I am sure be sympathetic. To be honest, I doubt it was laced, there isn't too much you can lace weed with that would be financially beneficial to the dealer, it was probably just a very strong variety.

More likely you suffer from the problems you had at a low level anyhow (depression, anxiety, paranoia) and the strain of weed you smoked simply exaggerated them. Stay away from it in future if it has that effect on you, and definitely don't touch the stronger strains of skunk that are about.
I'll go with Chucks answer. You need to stop worrying and look to the positives in your life. I know you've lost loved ones but remember the good times you had with themand don't broob over the bad.
I really don't think any of that is associated with the weed, even skunk is very unlikely to have an effect like that. Weed usually just chills you out and have a very mellowing effect. I think it is something that you have got into your head about what could have happened with some drugs but highly unlikely on weed.

What surely there is some mistake, this is the fluffy bunny wonder drug after all!
Poeple are all different. Some people's chemistry reacts badly to some drugs. You are probably not a person who should take drugs, No big deal.

Don't dwell on it and get on with your life. Turn your focus to something else. The world is a fascinating place.
As a teenager I tried 'soft drugs' a few times, just to fit in with friends. One event led me to being extremely paranoid, I was adamant there was a car coming behind us and was going to hit us, which there wasn't. After that I decided drugs really weren't for me and haven't bothered with them since. I think the same could be said for you, your body can't handle them so just decide you tried it, it didn't work and you won't do it again and put the experience behind you.

It might be worth finding someone proffessional to talk to about what must have been an awful time for you with losing those family members.
