Luggage on safari

Can anyone tell me when you go on a 7 day safari then onto a second week at a resort do you keep all your luggage with you or do they take some of it to the second resort.

normally some is taken onto another resort they as they try not to carry too much luggage on safari.

We asked at the travel agence but they was as helpful as a choclate fireguard
