This is to the (NOT) so very kind lady who I sat next to on the train through Manchester the other day.
I had been on the train for some time when she got on at Manchester. We chatted for a while about nothing in particular and two stops later she got off.
As the train was leaving she tapped on my window, waved, smiled, gave me the thumbs up then pointed at my coat she had over her arm.
The coat was an old one with nothing but fluff in the pockets but that is not the point.
There is scum in every town and city in the world. I just found one the first time I happen to pass through Manchester.
I fully sympathise with the OP, but to be honest this is the first belly laugh I've had in ages. I also think that weecalf has a bright future ahead of him as a defence advocate.
