Another dream question!.....

I can NEVER remember my dreams, but when I woke up this morning, I had to really think if it was real or not!

The dream was about......."my mum and my partners mum arranging our wedding, which my partner knew about, but I was only told the morning of our wedding! I didnt have a dress or anything but the church was booked. I demanded a dress so tried the first one on and was made to buy it. As I was going to the church I recieved a text from my partner saying he wasn't ready to get married!"

My partner and I moved in together about a month ago. But haven't spoken about marriage or anything!

It was so really I was quite upset when I woke up.

Anyone got any ideas what it meant?

Your wedding is supposed to be 'your big day': you look your best, you are 'radiant' and the centre of attention. You are united not just with a man but with a whole new way of living - before women had the option of living independently, marriage meant graduating to adulthood. So when you dream that your wedding day goes completely wrong, this reflects basic discord within you, and probably with your present way of life.  As you felt in the dream, being so unexpectedly and completely disempowered can be very frustrating.

Don't take this to mean that something is wrong, it probably just means that your subconscious mind is adjusting to your new circumstance.
