is anyone else sick to death of shelley and charlie? or is it just me..its gone on so long and she makes the programme really dreary..she also makes women look really silly and shallow...i feel like giving her a shake..

Why does that guy act with his mouth? Every mortal thing that's said, he gurns away like a defective with St Vitus' Dance! And when he's drinking a pint, he looks like he could suck an egg out of a chicken. And his tee-shirts are two sizes too small ..... sorry, am I ranting?

I agree that the storyline is dreary in parts, but this sort of abuse is slow burning and insidious.

I think it would be unrealistic and spoilt if it were bought to an early conclusion.

And mullein's reaction is entirely natural, which is why a lot of people in Shelley's situation become isolated and unable to seek help.

I think it is entirely true to life.

Shelley is suffering from agrophobia, acute depression and worst of all, a right pain in the a*s*.  The depression is causing her to feel insecure and she thinks that she cannot live without the pain in the a*s*.

It's not the story that's dreary to me mullein it's Charlie & Shelley themselves.  I agree with everything that puttycake says - he's got a face that you could slap & what kind of accent is that??  As for Shelley it's the silly simpering voice & permanent semi-grin that she has.  Someone should have told her that being depressed & afraid doesn't mean you start doing impressions of a 3 year old.

i think we had better write to coronation street and tell them to remove them..when any scenes with charlie and shelley come on i start to fidget..talk..or smoke..i like d that post " if i complained about the bread i would be wearing it"..so would mr m  it would be take it or leave it..i dont like her silly grin either..apparently she may be going to see him for what he is at their wedding..we can hope its not just a rumour..

I have no doubt this sort of mental abuse goes on and woman can suffer years of  this mental abuse but the stroy is dragging on and should now come to a conclusion.  I hope they dont get married because if they do then teh story will just drag on and on

I couldn`t agree more, I only know what goes on cos i`m in the same room, My missus sits there watching them in a trance,if the soaps are not bad enough what about Where the bloody heart is, ARGHHHH!!!!   soap actors retirement home more like!

its light entertainment..and their isnt much else on! i have sky and sometimes with all the channels their is nothing worth watching..television is poor quality..but its take it or leave it..i like where the heart is...and no i wont say sorry..it passes the time..anyway if the men are so bored watching it surely they could find something usefull to do while its on...like ironing...cleaning cookers..washing up ..etc..
