Has anyone had contact with a loved one who has passed away?

Has anyone here made contact with a departed loved one? What kind of experience was this? Was it via a medium or was it a sign, something that you know could have only come from that person who had passed away?
I am definetly curious about this and I am sitting on the fence as to whether I believe that there is "life" after death or not. I would like to believe so. Then again, the cynics out there will say that you die and that is it.

No medium involved, no reason for me to want the person to contact me as i didn't even know them, it just happened?

No idea. As I say, I don't know how Paul Daniels saws a woman in half but I know it's just a trick. You need to contact someone like Derren Brown who does these tricks professionally but at least he admits they ARE tricks.

To the believers, no evidence is enough and to the doubters no evidence is enough to convince them. Or something like that.
I want to believe that there is a spiritual life after death, one which we cannot see but they can see us. I havent had an experience to confirm this yet, and I dont know of anyone who has had an experience like it. Its unlikely that I will ever be able to prove that there is "something" out there.
To those who have been able to make some contact with a loved one, I am happy for them. I cannot be cynical about their expeience because it is theirs and not mine, and who am I anyway to judge whether it is real or staged?

I always thought that if you have the "gift" you shouldn't expect to receive payment for it. A medium told me that once.

The few times I've seen one I've made the appointment by a mobile and never given an address. I do believe there are people who can communicate and I've been told things that I didn't know were true but since have confirmed.

I have to say I've never paid her if you offer her payment she says if you liek make a donation to a charity.

I would like to state categorically and quite clearly that all the doubters are wrong. Read up on physics, philosophy and religions you guys and try being sympathetic to other people and their concerns. Yes you can if you know how to do it. There is no need for mediums or spiritualists. In my humble view it is not a question of life after death it is a question of perception. Check the matter out in a web site, library or bookshop dealing in 'new age' matters. Go for it, you are absolutely correct and the doubters are not.

Our creator who made ALL things also created other beings before us in the form of a "spirit" world for want of a better world. Much about this "world" we don't know about and haven't got the ability to know about. Our creator hasn't seen fit to give us the ability to know about these things although our brain capacity if far far bigger then we ever need it to be to live on the planet.
Other beings (we know as Angels, Nephilim and ceraphim etc) exist and were helpers in the creation processes, obviousely they would know the make up of our bodies and the systems we use to live here on Earth, indeed they will have a great knowledge as they were also made in the image of the creator.
The One thing we were ALL given as a kindness from the creator was that of "Free Will", Yes, when you think about it we could have been created as mere robotic beings just like the animals and insects of the world who only have limited abilities and who were given to us to have command over.

The free will we were given was abused badly as is documented in the Book of Genesis when Eve tempted Adam to partake of the fruits of the tree of knowledge contrary to what she had been told by the creator. this is where troubles started for mankind.

Like Satan, the people who proffess to have powers to communicate with dead people are likeley fueled by information provided by him and his followers (Demons)

They have the ability to distort the truth about our purpose.
Why would they do this?
Well because Satan who don't forget, would have been present at the creation and would have the knowledge, he would have seen the original way we humans were commanded to live and to only worship the real creator, He would have seen this and due to his haveing the gift of free will, would have abused the privalidge and become greedy for us to worship him instead of the creator. Hence the introduction of Jealosy and envy.
We therefore have been misled right from then and increasingly are today.

i appreciate your question and hear it so many times. What we need to do is study all the information with regards to the origins. If you trace back in history you'll find that the oldest documents originateed long before any other written evidence, The so called dead Sea Scrolls which are the earliest known works handed down to mankind from the creator.
The next thing people say is that it is only written by man, this is also true, however those men, Inspired By God were dedicated to the task they had to carry out, the last thing that any one of them wanted to do was make a mistake, otherwise hours of careful writings would have to be re done until it was perfect.

If on the other hand you search out the origins of men or women having devine access to powers that are claimed by the so called spirit mediums and fortune tellers, you will find they go back hundreds of years to times of black magic and voodooism etc, these practices serve one purpose only and that is to impress on people the so called power, magic, it is a total deception to will people away from the true worship of our creator, mostly unbeknown to the perpetraters who truely believe they have the powerand. the outcome for people who follow these trends is clearly pointed out in the Bible. It will lead people into death. What about the other people? well there is a clear promise that all the problems of mankind will be sorted out and true worshippers of the creator will be able to live forever on the cleaned up Earth.

It Is a very complicated and interesting thing to study and find out just how everything has been planned and will be fullfilled. It isn't something that can be accepted easily as we have so many distractions on the earth

Yes, and they can contact you. The most common and easy way for them , is in your dreams, same as your Spirit Guides. They will send you messages and it's best if you right them down right away after your dreams. When my Girlfriend passed away a week after i had this so real life like dream and at the end of the dream she said something like look under the bed for proof i was here. I woke right after and my arm was streched out like i've been holding to someone and was a bit swore, Anyways i got up and turned the lights on and looked under the bed for any clue that She had been there, but nothing was there. I decided to get up since there was only an hour before i had to get up anyways. Went to make my morning coffee and after 2 hrs i went into the bedroom to straighten the blankets and thats when i noticed my fitted sheet at the foot of the bed on Her side was lifted up and was half way up the bed. I knew right then that's what She ment and not under the bed. Also my cat sleeps at pillow at night, but that night and a few other nights i have noticed the cat outside the bedroom door laying down and looking in with a frighten look to her. Because cats go into a dream state while even awake they can since spirits among us. I can't remember most of the dream and even after my coffee the dream even faded more, but the part that stuck was the the clue she told me to look for because i did that right away when i woke. Also Spirit Guides will leave you clues to life in your dreams. They maybe little one at a time, but if you right down your dreams when you wake or even have a tape recorder near you so you can record your dreams, they will fall in place.
