Beauticans Recommendation
18 Answers
Hi All,
I need to get the following done and would prefer to get them done in one place;
1) Electrolysis
2) Eye lash dying
3) Eyebrow threading
4) Possibly a bikini wax - (Depends on how brave I'm feeling)
I would like to go to somewhere reputable within the central or south east London area but I would also like somewhere that does not charge a complete fortune, (I've had three of the above done several times and can't believe the difference in pricesin some places). Does anyone have any recommendations?
Cheers

Squad, Mr O was only upset I'd spent 2 cos he says I'm gorgeous enough as it is! lol
BTW, I was looking through some old photos and I've found a brilliant one of Fred S in the 1970's dressed in a tutu and tights. When i fathom out how to work our new scanner I'd upload it for you to have a look.
Sorry to digress China. xx

I guess some people might have a reaction to waxing, so threading is an alternative. Plucking only deals with one hair at a time so if you look like Noel Gallagher your eyebrows could be done quicker.
It's not a problem I have as when I was young the fashion was to overpluck eyebrows, and they've never grown back, grrr!

You might well have googled this already but it might be helpful:

Also, if you get your hair done in a salon they might be able to do you a deal, so to speak. The salon I use also does beauty therapy and has offers / discounts now and then when booked with hair cut

This is not an answer, just a comment on threading. I had my legs done in South China 9 years ago - I had never heard of it before. Maybe it's coincidence (or age!!), but the hair grew back very slowly and with a very fine texture. Now I only need to wax very, very occasionally.
I didn't find it all painful.
