In MAY! I had my car keyed (all the way round) by kids after I asked them to leave my garden...By JULY the police interviewed only 2 of them who denied it! The Police said I would lose in court as I had not told them they could NOT damage my car!! Funds & time limit the police (they say) to sorting out Pubs/Clubs on a w/end + I was told the delay was due apparently to they can only approach youngsters (aged 11) at certain times of the day bless them, yet I was interviewed at 11.45pm! I am left with 150 excess to pay on an 800 repair, I can understand (I won't) why people lose faith in the police, has anyone else had this prob with keying cars/police? :-(

I had my car broken into and they left a lighter behind, which would be ideal for retaining finger prints.  The friendly local Police Constabulary didn't come to look at the car, they didn't take the lighter, it wasn't worth their time as they probably wouldn't find the person(s) who did it anyway!?!?!?!
After my caravan was vandalised my local police told me to dish out my own brand of justice, after making sure there were no witnesses to report me!   The little darlings know there's next to no chance of being caught and the Childrens Panel would only tell them not to be so naughty next time.   Faith in the legal system?  It's a joke.
When someone vadalised my merc by smashing the windows, the police were not interested at all, even though I was merely 50 yards from the station it was not worth their time to come out.

If I had driven home at 90mph down the motorway however, I bet I'd have got loads of police attention.

Even if the scumbags had been caught, they'd probably be on benefits and therefore be effectively immune from all punishments.
