(because AB gets asked this on a regular basis - have you got this from a recipe or something?). But seriously see this link for details question 23502
Just found the link - it might throw some light on the reason for the interest:

Phil - my apologies also for the way some regular users of the site seem happy to assume so much about you and be so quick to reply without actually answering! There is a great interest in gravy salts on the Message Board of a website for the village of Wymondham, Leicestershire, which is where Burdall's Gravy Salt was manufactured. If you try this link you may find someone who can answer your question!...

I have just checked out the http://web.ukonline.co.uk/nspku/lists/diet0101.htm
and whilst Burdall Gravy Block is indeed mentioned ... so are 13 other gravy mixes ... including Bisto and all the other ones we have heard of ... so I'm still not convinced that that is the reason the question keeps being asked.
samwal ... not suprised that you havent been able to find Burdall in the last 12 months as they stopped production 2 years ago. However, try http://www.network54.com/Hide/Forum/message?forumi
d=47126&messageid=1039076608 as someone else is in the process of starting to manufacture it.
