Will we ever be fined?
At the start of July, we wen't to France for a week, and took our car with us.
At one point, dad got confused with the speed limit and the dial in the car, seeing as the big numbers on the dial, which he was looking at were in mph and the speed limits were stated in kmph.
This inevitably lmeant that he got flashed by a speed camera. But, so far we haven't heard anything . . . . how long should it take?

I think you probably don't have much to worry about as your number probably won't be recognised and even if it was I dont think the french would bother even if they could get hold of your dad's address. Some poor french farmer is probably even now trying to explain to the police that he was milking his cows when the alleged offence took place 200 kilometers away.
