fixing cars and trucks for a living has taught me that there are good and bad things for everyone. some people swear by fiat punto's , a lot...
I love mine - it's my second, the first got totalled by a bus. i would have preferred one with the old design, like my destroyed one, but I would have had to buy an older model than I wanted. The new one is great - comfy, ecconomical, easy to drive, all I really require in a car.

I wish mine would get hit by a bus (obviously causing no accidents to anyone or anything but the car) - Compared to my previous car (clio) the punto is the devil - it bangs and stutters and is generally rubbish - i really really do hate it. Unfortunately it was purchased in somewhat of a rush and i clearly wasn't thinking straight after the departure of the clio so i think the moral of my story is more haste less speed :)

i know that one of my mates would definately agree with you b13thy
Newer Puntos are much better and older ones are just sheds.  Trade it in or give it away and go for a Honda Civic or something with a bit of flair!
I used to have a black N reg Punto ~ power steering, central locking, electric windows and nice alloys it was a wee smasher!
I really hate Fiat Puntos as I had a car accident with one last week!! aaaaahh
Oh yes! I too have a Fiat Punto and it has been a complete joke. I would try and list all of the problems I have had with it but it would take too long and I would probably start crying. At the moment it is doing a lovely little trick - if you indicate, the engine cuts out, the dials on the dash start spinning and the radio memory clears. It truly is a pony. I'm working overseas at the moment so thought I would insure and leave it for my boyfriend to use so he would have transport, independence etc- poor lamb, it has given him nothing but trouble and I've only been gone six weeks! When I get back to England I'm going to sell it and get something a bit sturdier, maybe a Honda Civic. Any opinions on them? My car only does about 6-8000 miles a year and has at least one major fault every 6 months. We are going to re-name it Beelzebub.
