Car Tracking Problem?

On turning the steering wheel while car stationary or at low speed i.e. turning out from driveway, experiencing a slight grinding noise and sounds like engine revs increasing. Could this be a problem with tracking and/or power steering and who would be best people to have a look at this, e.g. Kwik Fit etc?
Surrounded by speedbumps in my area and wondering if something's been knocked out of line by constantly driving over them.
Apologies for description of problem - any thoughts please?

Is you car front-wheel drive?

The car I presume has Power Steering! whilst turning the wheel whilst the car is not in motion puts unnessary pressure on the P.S.Pump, check the resoviour is up to it's level, if the car is out of track this will be indicated by the tyre tread being uneven.

1# Yes - front wheel drive car (Ford Fiesta)

Either ..
1. Fiesta bottom wishbone arm joints can semi-seize and cause noise.
2. Power rack worn
3. Power steering pump wearing out.
Just take it to a local small garage. Quite easy to diagnose on a ramp.
Do NOT take it to Quik-Fit .. or it will Quikly become "Expensive-Fit"
