Ha-Ha, I bought a black and whit tinic tpo yesterday which I think is really smart so I was going to get some ankle leggings to go with it...but

When my daughter came down earlier I showed her the garment , she said she liked it but then I told her about the leggings, she was aghast..pmsl
she said" Mam will you not feel a bit like Heather from EE?" I reminded her I was no where near as fat and still had good legs for my age...the bloody madam!!!!
so what did she do?
Went to the Metro Centre and came back with black skinny jeans for me from Next, they are lovely and go perfect with the tunic..
Was she asking me to dress my age do ya think...ha-ha:-0)

I tried leggings once, had a green tunic top and got some black leggings, came downstairs and showed my bloke who laughed and said I looked like robin hood. Leggings do not go well with my cankles

I think leggings look good,IF worn with a long enough top/tunic,and with knee high boots.....then they are no different from wearing a mini and opaque tights. And yes-the legs cannot be fat ones.

I have loads of pairs of leggings -I wear them all the time -like pasta said with sweatshirts, t-shirts any kind of top but always with knee high boots of which I must have at least 7 different pairs.I have ventured with wedgy sandals and a top during the summer always past my ass-looks funkier that way.
I have jeans -im just not comfy in them for any length of time.I like the long top leggings boots look -its my signature dish of sorts.
Geordie -your jeans will look smashing on you but leggings are ace for dossing about in :)
