I Need a Quick Fix Fast!

Can anyone tell me the best way to get rid of puffy, red, swollen eyes...fast?! I hope some of you can offer me some quick-fix remedies...I look like I haven't slept in days (or worse) and I have a special occasion approaching tonight!

Pleanty of water and half hour of sleep should work wonders for you.

Maybe a dash of optrex eye wash  or something when you wake up.

Try some damp tea bags,but wash them out a few times first.(:)

Haemoroid cream (spelling?) is supposed to reduce the puffiness HAnn.  I wouldn't use it too often though, just for a quick fix.  Whats the occasion?

Just under the eyes though I think.  Maybe check has anybody ever used it, I seem to remember seeing a thread on here about it.

This is great...gosh, I wish I weren't at work so that I could take a nap Cockney...but I did grab a bottle of water before I ran out this morning...I'll drink the whole thing and more if it'll help! ...but I won't be able to get a nap :(

I don't have any hemorrhoid cream (luckily) Peri...and I don't think I'd fancy buying some...but that will be useful for emergencies such as this in the future. The occassion is an art exhibition opening tonight at the art museum I work for. My boyfriend will be my date and I wanted to look especially nice...

however, due to lack of sleep, stress, worry, etc...I look like a punching bag!

What about some IB Propane? you have that there right, spose to help with swelling I think?

Try lying down for half an hour with a slice of cucumber, yes cucumber, on each eye;o)

if you have any witch hazel in the house use that on cotton wool pads..its what they use to make eye soothing preperations..

Aloe Vera gel smoothed round the eyes is very soothing and helps the puffiness go down.

I had a rough night last night georgit...I'm not gonna lie, but things are still ok with the MAnn and I...no worries ;0)

thanks to all, I look much better than I did this morning, but still feel some premping is in order before the shindig tonight!

i usually do this - run a teaspoon under the cold water and then place it over your eye for a minute or so. works wonders for me
