Good morning everyone - and before we get into it - when do the clocks go back in the UK ? Ours went forward Sunday morning and we're all wandering around in a daze, and my ideas of what time it is anyway is totally splutt !!!
Spring has hit with a vengeance - warm days and equally warm nights - not the way to start at all - as you see, I'm grizzling already !!!
Four unusual words - four not so usual matches as well - one of which I didn't think would be made, but then, you lot always surprise me !! We had -
Fire Guard
Identity Parade
Marsh Mallow
Captain General
And while the first three went on the first few entries, the last hung around till that imaginative lady of the HandBags came along and nominated Captain General - there's no stopping her !!
All the same, points weren't all that easy to come by - six intrepid souls managed three points for 2 correct, namely LONDON_LASSY, PATCHETT, BRYHER, MISS MEG, BEEJAY1124 & MAGYAR and a further 29 all collected a point to start off their tally - a grand total of 47 which ranks as a slow start for the month.
Congratulations to all those who scored this time around !!
On the upside though, there are five weekends in this month so plenty of time to improve on this one - so we reconvene next Saturday, same time, same place for round two.
Till then, have a good week and I'll catch you later ........... skz

we gain an hour in bed, not that we won't be walking round in a daze!!!
have heard rumours that they may leave us in BST next year to be the same as the rest of Europe
will have to wait and see.
no points for me here though
thanks for all the hard work

Just the one match for me - and I don't even like marshmallows!
I too remember staying on BST (old fossil that I am) and walking to school in the dark. On cold, frosty mornings the pavements sparkled under the streetlights, which was quite magical. Where we are now there's just the one weed-bestrewn pavement and no streetlights, so would instead enjoy having stars down to the horizon in the mornings too. On that poetic (?) note, thanks to Steff, well done to the points scorers, and have a good week everyone :)
