A question for nicola_red
Hello nicola_red
I hope I'm not causing offence here, but having explored previous threads, I see that some people are asking after Andy Hughes, and from your responses, you seem to know where he is, but don't want to say. Did you know him? have you fallen out? I am curious, so is there any way you can tell me what has gone on? Thanks.

To gain entry to The Froggers Inn:
1)Go to http://groups.msn.com and look to the RIGHT HAND SIDE of the screen for the tab stating MY GROUPS.
2)Click on this tab and it will show you if you are a member of the Froggers Inn, if you are then click on it and you shall be in.
If the Froggers Inn isn't showing then it may be because you arent signed in properly (A fault with Internet Explorer automatically signing you in as a different email address) So...
1)Follow Step 1 as above
2)Go to SIGN OUT, a silver button in the very top RIGHT HAND SIDE and click it
3)RECLICK it when it says SIGN IN
4)Enter your hotmail address and password you used to join The Froggers Inn.
5)Click on MY GROUPS again and hopefully if all goes well you should see The Froggers Inn as one of your groups that you can click on.
thanks to twiglet4frog for the copied instructions...
Just a vague suggestion such as: "Another AB user offended him deeply" or "The AB editor banned too many of his answers" or "He went to become a novice in a monastery in France" or whatever.
He and I liked each other's responses and often said so. Many others on AB also admired him, so - assuming he hasn't been banged up as a pdophile - why the mystery? And even if he has, you could simply say: "He hasn't got access to a computer any more."
Perhaps it's just the fact that he feels he's 'done his time' on here. After all there are many people that were here when I arrived that sadly have now disappeared. It's the lovely ones that go...
Let's us respect his privacy and wish him well. I respect him even more for his quiet departure. No shouting it from the rooftops like a lot of posters - that shows he has real class!
Best of luck Andy - and hope to see your name again sometime.
Alrighty people,
all I can say is that there are 2 possible reasons why AH has left. One involves another user, another doesn't and is just too private for me even to hint at. I'm not sure which is correct. To the best of my knowledge he isn't dead, emigrated or in prison, if that helps, and none of the answers in the 'survey' is really right either. I also don't know if he still lurks or even has rejoined under a different name.
The 'mystery' is to protect his privacy. It may indeed have been better to keep quiet altogether but I was just hoping to stop people constantly asking about him, however it hasn't worked. I really wish people would respect that!
And of course it has occured to me that the ABers I've told the reasons to via email could come here and post the info. I've asked the few people I have emailed to not mention what I tell them in any public forum, and I've trusted them all to respect that. So far they all have.
Maybe this can stop now?
