Have just watched this, what a load of rubbish this programme has become very little highlights and a load of chat about nothing. Does anyone agree?

i think there isn't enough highlights but at the same time its always the big 4 whos on 1st.
doesnt the title MATCH OF THE DAY mean anything to the BBC, (the best game 1st and the dullest game last).
this isn't the way it should be and you don't need numerous people about how a players runs are good or not, everyone watching the programme knows what the players are capable of.

Anyone who actually needs “analysis” after watching even edited highlights really needs to think about do they actually understand what they are watching in the first place.

The whole pundit thing reeks anyway, former players, passing judgement on clubs that they had rivalries with as player with a vocabulary that seems to struggle past words with more than 3 syllables.

Given that they have to have a “talking point” they are slowly strangling the life out of the game. Why do we question referees? Could it be to do with the fact that people who have never seen the inside of a football ground, wonder why a ref makes wrong decision after, they have watched it 10 times from 4 different angles, while a smug, self satisfied commentator shouts you’ve got that wrong ref.

Yep revamp the lot, one commentator who keeps his opinions to himself a studio link man and that’s it.
Lets see if the viewing public can make up their own minds

steve , motd have cameras on every game, (poss 4 cams) and there are 2 ppl watching each game writing down anything that happens. throw in , corners etc... and if anything happened or not from then. any talking point is highlighted and after the 90 mins, someone else watches to make sure somethings not been missed and what should be put forward to the show. then a production team watch to says whats going in the show then you have motd. or should i say top 4 highlights and rest of leagues goals...
