Feliway - Cat Behaviour Spray

Has anyone tried these pheremone sprays or plug inns? I have a very bad tempered cat and wondered if these would do anything to help?

surely pheromones would mean you end up with a bad tempered, but randy cat?

I have never tried them but have heard that they work. But that is not to say that they will work for your cat.

Has your cat always been grumpy or has there been a change in its circumstances that may have unsettled him/her?

My lady cat has a short temper - if things don't go her way she lashes out and has bitten me a few times. Her brother is much calmer and laid back.

I dont think they alter personalities!!! They calm and reassure stressed animals - ie in a new home etc... but dont think they make a grumpy cat happy!

He has always been a grumpy little sod (but I still love him). The vet said it's because he was taken from his Mum too young (not by us) and therefore not disciplined. He will attack anything that moves at random and rarely lets you give him any fuss, unless he is in his bed. We moved to a new house in Jan and there are alot of other cats around which I think has caused him to spray a bit.

I used Feliway spray when we moved house last year, sprayed around the garden, steps, door etc and it definitely settled the cat down. Not sure if it will change your cats personallity, no harm in trying tho, you never know.

I use these for my mog as he can be a bit nervy, especially around Bonfire Night. They really do help as do the Serene Um tablets you can crush up & put in food. I don't know if they'll stop your cat be bad temepered but they mught help - it's worth a try.
