I don't understand....

A friends son drowned in Blackpool a few months ago. Lately on FaceBook she's been posting about justice for him.
The facts that I know.
He was on a dingy...
He couldn't swim...
The rescue took just under three hours...
They were searching further out when he was trapped under the pier...
He was alive when they found him but died on the way to hospital...
What justice?

Following on from ttfn, there was an accident on one of our busy main roads a few years ago, where a young schoolgirl was killed on a zebra crossing. To this day the railings alongside the zebra crossing are festooned with flowers, teddies and banners in memory of the girl who died. I'm sorry for her parents and family but I find these roadside "memorials" unnecessary after a certain length of time. No-one can prove that the girl didn't run out on to the crossing without looking.
We've got something like that near here, gran - a schoolgirl killed while crossing the road. The parents were incensed when several years later the council suggested that enough was enough and the plastic flowers and containers should go. The site looks really tacky - but it doesn't seem to me that they have closure yet, a long time later.
