Two real options for this: First, from your browser window select tools, then internet options . . this will then let you clear the history of pages visited and also adjust the number of days to store visited sites for.
Secondly and perhaps the best way, is to double-click My Computer from your desktop, click Windows then select 'Temporary Internet Files', this will then display ALL URLs, Graphics and Images, and also Cookies that are Cached on your machine.
From here you can 'Delete' any or all content as required, and you should find that your machine could run faster also, as you may find thousands of visited files etc on there. (Hope this helps)
