Trojan virus help!!

Hi does anyone know a download i can get completley free to remove a Trojan Virus my daughter has got on her laptop please XX

Report back with the name of the trojan.
Is it affecting updates and/or AV program?

Run a full virus scan.

Try malwarebytes as well. Free to download and install. Update after installing it. If that does not work, boot into safe mode and run malwarebytes.

If all fails, you might have to use system restore to a time prior to when the virus first got onto the laptop.

Not turning off System Restore BEFORE scanning then? So it replicates itslf again .. even if removed?
