When you send a message through the internet via skype to a contact who isnt on line a small spinning circle appears next to the message once you've sent it. When you place your mouse over the circle you are informed that the message has not yet been read.
Does that animation remain until the recipient has seen the message or does it disappear after a fixed period whether or not the message has been read?
