old tobacco tins

i am looking for a golden virginia tobacco tin that you got years ago they only seem to make pouches now and i have tried ebay and such like sites but no joy there, can anyone tell me where i can find one or if anyone has one can i have it.please, was hoping for it to be a surprise xmas present as my husband loves the old tins.

I have old Sun Valley tins from my old man when he used to smoke in the 70s, how original is that?!  If only we could swap addresses, I'd send on FOC!

My husband has a few old GV tins which he kept from his smoking days, back in the seventies too. They are stored in the garage with bits & bobs in them. You would be more than welcome to have one of those, but as we're all anonymous, it isn't really possible.

Thanks very much to everyone, but you won't believe this, i mentioned to my mother in law about one and out she popped with one from her cupboard, here have that one she says i only keep my safety pins in it. I couldn't believe it, so thanks to all and have a great christmas!!

Goldern Virginia and Cutters Choice are still sold in tins in specialist tobaconists. I think they charge 20p extra. However, if you only want the tin �10+ is a bit pricy!
