You haven't got one of those 'lampshade' things?
Get a muzzle for the dog.
Seriously, Molly, lol- do you answer posts just because they're there?

Who the hell usually has 'one of those lampshade' things knocking around their house normally?
Boo, you make me laugh...

Keep the area as clean as possible and if the wound starts to weep, smell or won't stop bleeding then take the dog to the vets.
Or maybe she could drown the dog instead eh mike? Problem solved!

What a nasty and stupid comment to make about someone's pet mike :(
Err, I have several of those lampshade things hanging about the house (not to mention muzzles). I would keep up the cleaning regime and then take her for a walk
while it dries, and give her a chew or bone to take her mind off it. If you can get hold of any a product called 'Cut Heal' is brilliant - you spray it on the wound and it heals from the outside in (and it smells awful to them). Just a thought - perhaps there is a bit of the cat's claw still in the wound irritating it? I would give it till Monday and then go to the vet, because she will probably need antibiotics to prevent infection.
BOO we have one of them . . . .
Get a BUSTA collar (lampshade) from your local vet.
