not sure if it worked last time i submitted this! i'm looking for a series of books my friend and i both remember reading. set in america, possibly in the fifties and they centred on a large family, each book focussing on one child's adventures specifically. i remember that one of the children was adopted, but can't for the life of me remember who wrote the books of what theyy were called. help.
