I keep stroking the boiler type thing in the kitchen, its ever so shiny. Not mustered up the courage to switch it on though...so may buttons and knobs (oooo!) on it. I am slightly worried though as I ran the hot water tap for a while to savour the novelty of instant hot water and whilst it got warm, it wasn't hot hot, as in lets have a bath kind of hot.. Does this improve, or will i have to go twiddle a knob?
Never been that bothered about it to be honest Dris, we're still not, but we intend to move eventually, and sadly it was one of the things that needed doing before we could decorate and bog of out of here.
there should be a thermostat on the side of the hot water tank where you can alter the temperature of the water.
there may also be a thermostat on the boiler that controls the temperature of the water and heating, hopefully independently. have a look in the manual.
Problem solved, i just wasnt letting it run long enough. I ran it for a full five minutes, then stupidly stuck my hand under it to test it- was bloody hot!
