Sunglasses for migraines.

Has anyone on here tried wearing sunglasses to prevent migraine attacks? If so, were they successfull?

I worked at a place once where I kept getting really bad headaches and migraines all the time until someone suggested the fact that there was such bright sunlight through the window next to me through blinds with slats may not have been helping and they were right.
Once I'd blocked the light off it was a lot better.

I get migraines from spending an afternoon in the sun. Wearing a hat and sunglasses seem to help, so I think it is time to invest in a high quality pair of sunglasses. What sorts of things should I be looking for that will work for me the best?
