Russell Crowe in Galdiator 2

RC has just announced he will consider doing a sequel to Gladiator.

Not owning the DVD, does the movie clearly show him dying at the end or could he just be seriously injured??

 

I really hope its not a twin brother scenario.

 

Any ideas where the script writers are going with this?

It certainly appeared that he died, but they could always say he was just unconcious, and recovered - can't say more without giving away the ending.

Failing that, a prequel would be good.

But didn't the movie show him enslaved as a warriorous Gladiator??? Definately a sequel.

he did die in it and i have heard that it is a prequel to it showing how he led up to the beginning of the film with the battle, it shows his rise from soldier to general.

Last i heard he wasnt considering doing a follow up film so maybe he is starting to need the money lately!

Had dinner with Russell just the other day, and saw a script sticking out of his pocket that definately had the letters GLA........TOO on the first page, but it could have been nothing, I had to pay, so maybe he is a bit skint.
