Bacon sandwiches, butter or no butter. Here in Derbyshire it is practically illegal to have butter on them. Where are you, and do you put it on or not ?? Thanks x

Never eat white bread. For me brown bread no butter and bacon or something else but never white bread. full of gluten Yuk.

Can't say I have, Mazie, as I only do them at weekends now, having realised that paying £1 per day for a paper merely for the privilege of doing the crossword was uneconomic. Having said that, I'd love to see a cryptic clue to which that was the answer.

Fresh baked muffin from local bakery, dry cure back bacon grilled and crispy, Lurpak butter spread thickly no sauce.....I hate sauce.
