Who is your Internet/Phone provider?
14 Answers
Hi All
Having been with BT for over 20 years I am now finding that they are very expensive and annoying (it took over a week to resolve my last problem, mainly because the lady in the Indian call centre couldn't understand me!!).
So I am going to be looking at other providers but are there any you lovely Abers would reccommend? Or those that shouldn't be touched with a barge pole!!
Thanks

PlusNet is a division of BT. So if you move to Plusnet, you're just moving by name really. They may well have a different tech support/customer service department, but it doesn't change the fact that they're a division of the same company.
I'm not saying should change your decision, but it's pertinent information considering the reasons you've decided to look for another ISP.

When Tiscali fizzled out I went with https://www.bethere.c...web/beportal/homepage
I did have to set up a web mail a/c for my email, but that was easily done with info received on AB.
It came highly recommended, and I can now say '' I have never had a dropped line or and issues with them''
You get through to eastern europe for your helpdesk ... and they dont make excuses and blame your equipment. They just help you out and solve anything you can throw at them.... I'd give them 10/10.
If you sign up with ''topcashback'' you can get another £40 off.

I'm with BT Broadband and I am really pleased with them. When my home hub went down, I had to ring India and the guy rang me back straight away, he was on the phone for 45 mins sorting me out and he couldn't have been more helpful. You may have got a duff operator when you rang - I wouldn't give up an otherwise good service on the basis of one phone call experience.
