Mouse or Rat problem in between cavity walls
3 Answers
I have a missing tile on the outside of my wall where there used to be a toilet overflow pipe and also i have 3-4 open holes in my outside bricks due to the cavity wall installer not plugging all of them, (both problems have been reported) just now i was in the bath and i could definately hear chewing and squeaking coming from between the wall, i am having the tile mended this Thursday and wondered if there are any pellets that i can shove through the open holes in the outside wall and if there are - what ones would be the best ? Many thanks for suggestions

Phone your local authority and they should send someone out. They may charge you 10-20 quid for coming out and using a bait but it is money well spent.

I'm an ex pest controller of 13 years, go to a hardware store and get "Neosorexa" its available over the counter and many professional pest controllers use it, don't be she with it, put plenty of it down, if you skimp on it, it wont work, buy a kilo and put it all down!, try to put it in different places.
The reason mice are more expensive to deal with are:- Rats are very greedy, if they find a food source they will consume as much as they can eat, if that food is poison they will die.
Mice feed differently, they are sporadic feeders, they just nibble small amounts at various food sources, so it is necessary to put more bait stations down and to cover a larger area to ensure they take plenty of bait for it to be effective.
