Dry Itchy Scalp

Please can anyone suggest anything i could use? Dont really know why its started to itch I havent changed shampoos or anything (and I've checked for nits!!) Thanks :-) x

It might just be the colder weather drying it. My mum suffers from an itchy scalp and swears by Neutrogena T Gel shampoo

yelenots, I find that I have to change shampoo every six months or so - my hairdresser says that every so often, my hair stops responding to my fave brand (John Frieda) and I can't get all the shampoo out so then I get an itchy scalp (yes, I know it sounds odd, but it works when I change for a few weeks!) I think I'll have a go at the Neutrogena for a change, too, thanks 237sj from me too!

You can become allergic to shampoos you've used for years.Try a very mild shampoo like Johnson's Baby shampoo.As 237SJ says the weather could be a factor.I work in a chemist and we're giving out loads of dry skin creams this week.

I've got some Johnsons Baby Shampoo ( I use it on the dog!) I'll try that tomorrow morning - its driving me round the bend its so itchy! I'm going to have to piriton in a minute!

Just bought some Neutrogena - it was expensive! I hope it works :-)
