how can i cover poly ceiling tiles

too difficult to remove. What paint can i use to cover tiles.

They will just look like painted poly tiles.
Emulsion should be fine. Under no circumstances use gloss as this is highly dangerous in event of fire.

Thanks but I really wanted to cover them as they are hideous. Is there some kind of thick paint out there.
I am not sure there is a product that will do a decent enough job. We had these tiles on our Bathroom Ceiling, and we hated them. I tried several products to cover the tiles, but the result was pretty poor, and looked naff alongside my newly installed bathroom suite. In the end I ripped them of the ceiling and paid to have it Plastered over. It only cost me £75 for the plastering, but I was a bit peeved with myself that I had already spent about £50 trying lots of different products to cover it up in the first place.

Unless you want to use car underseal .. do the right thing and take them off.
There's nothing on the market that's going to give a good result. Elbow grease, brow sweat and a good scraper are the real answer.
I found the promise of a bottle of something nice when the job was done helped. :)
