I used to make these by the dozen when I cooked for my friends deli - my recipe was:- 1lb lean mince, 1 grated large potato, 1 grated carrot, 1 grated parsnip/or turnip and 1 grated onion, salt and pepper,dash of worcester sauce and a stock cube crumbled in. pastry either short crust or Puff. Mix everything together then make pastry rings with a small tea plate and share filling out - cook for about 40 minutes at about Gas 5/6 or about 170 C. Don't think I've forgotten anything - if I have I will return to AB. Enjoy!
